INGREDIENTS:
Pillsbury Pizza Crust
Marinara/Pizza sauce - any sauce of your choice (I don’t have any at home so I made a small batch in a sauce pan: 1 Tbsp olive oil, 1 clove minced garlic, 1 can diced tomatoes - all pureed together, seasoned with onion powder, salt, oregano, mustard powder, etc…simmered for 20 min on low, stirring frequently)
Mozzarella cheese
Hormel Pepperoni mini slice
KITCHEN ESSENTIALS FOR THIS RECIPE:
Parchment Paper
Cookie Cutters
Pam or equivalent
Baking Sheet
Foil
PRE-COOKING PREP DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400°
Place foil over baking sheet and spray with Pam
Ensure you have pizza/marinara sauce or start making a small batch…
Unroll pizza dough onto a non-sticky surface, I used parchment paper
Use cookie cutters to cut out the shapes - I had to use a knife to go over the cut lines
Keep in mind the shapes may get slightly distorted as you remove them and place them onto the baking sheet
Place the ‘cookie cut outs onto the foil covered (Pam sprayed) baking sheet
NOW FOR THE FUN PART - COOKING!
Bake the crust as directed (400° for 6-8 minutes)
Remove and add your toppings
Place back into oven and bake an additional 8 minutes (you may want to add an additional 1-2 minutes depending on how crisp you like the crust)
Remove from oven, wait a few minutes to cool & serve
Plate and enjoy!
